Coaching Programs For The Kids
Our junior programs are designed to help kids learn, grow, and love the game of tennis in a fun, supportive environment. From first-time hitters to rising competitors, we offer age-specific coaching, skill-building games, and structured development pathways that keep kids engaged and progressing.
With experienced, energetic coaches and a focus on confidence, movement, and technique, NTA gives every young player the chance to shine on court.
TERM 1 2026 START DATES
Noosa Tennis Academy
Education
Our children’s school term coaching program aims to cover all facets of the game for all ages and abilities. The 9 week program runs in line with school terms and is proudly supported by Wilsons Pee Wee program and affiliated with Tennis Australia’s Hot Shots.

All our staff are qualified and accredited and have fortnightly training and meetings to ensure the best service.
Classes are offered each afternoon and on Saturday mornings.

All programs run for 9 weeks with an end of term fun tournament for all players in the 10th week. This gives the students a chance to show off what they have been working on.

FREE END OF TERM TOURNAMENT
In week 10 of the term, we run a free end of term tournament with trophies and a sausage sizzle. This event is sponsored by Tewantin RSL and is open to all children enrolled in our program.

FREE JNR MEMBERSHIP FOR ALL ENROLLED STUDENTS
All Juniors enrolled in our coaching program get the NTC Jnr membership for free! This entitles them to use the courts & facilities at their leisure with other members.
Any non members will pay a guest fee on arrival

FREE TENNIS AUSTRALIA MEMBERSHIP
All Enrolled Juniors also get a free tennis Australia Membership which allows them to play tournaments and be covered by insurance.
Our Classes
PEE-WEE (AGE 4-7) 30min
Designed for the little ones just starting out. Soft balls, short nets and small racquets bring the game down to their level allowing easier success and enjoyment. Pee Wee classes have no more than 4 kids per coach. The cost is $145.00 per term.
JNR ROOKIE (AGE 7-9) 1hr
After achieving the concept of control and the basic understanding of the different strokes in the Pee-Wee program, the children are moved to the large net using green dot balls and playing from 3/4 court. In this program the emphasis is now on the children’s technique which will stay with them no matter how far they take their tennis. The introduction of match play, scoring and tennis etiquette is also achieved in this program. The cost is $195.00 per term.
JNR PRO (AGE 9 -16) 1hr
In this stage of the program we are concentrating on developing and fine tuning the skills learnt from the Junior Rookie program. From here, there is more emphasis on serving, as the children are developing their match play skills. The nice thing about this program is that older teenagers, playing tennis for the fun of the game can take these skills throughout their life as a social game. The cost is $195.00 per term.
ELITE & FIXTURES SQUAD TRAINING (TOURNAMENT & FIXTURES PLAYERS) 2 hr
Complete training for the competitive/fixtures/tournament players. Fitness, court strategies, equipment and mental consideration are all considered in this program. Here the students are training to become reliable and effective with their game under the pressures of match play. It is here where they prepare the students to play fixtures, tournaments and senior fixtures. The cost is $300.00/$320.00 per term.

Junior Fixtures
All players green ball level+ are eligible to play fixtures (must be able to score and serve)

Divisions 1-7 play on Friday night at 5.30 (2 singles & 1 doubles)

Green ball Divisions play on Saturday morning at 8am (1 singles & 1 doubles)

Matches will most commonly be at your own club but there is some travel involved
